How to Say "I'm Sorry"? How to Be Sorry?
The self help basic answer is simple - Just do it. Be honest, sincere and don't do it if you don't mean it - people can tell. I think that one of the worst decisions that a "Need to Apologizer" can make is apologizing without really feeling sorry. Listen, everybody makes mistake, and sometimes you mess up without really caring - or maybe thats just me - Ouch!.... None the less, unless you are blind, and completely distracted, you will notice when someone really means, "I'm sorry". Here are a few self help tips to help you out next time you need to apologize for that really stupid thing you did, or didn't do.

STEPS TO SAYING I'M SORRY

1. Always look the person in the eyes - when you are truly trying to apologize, eye contact is key. It says that the attention is on them, and you actually care.

2. Always sit the person down - even though you might not feel that the circumstances are that big of a deal, the person your apologizing to might, so make sure to give your full attention to them vs just a quick passing bay, "I'm Sorry".

3. Make sure to be sincere - this is the most important thing you can do or can't do, but you must make this a priority. Practice you apology in the mirror. This might sound stupid to many of you, but you underestimate how bad you are at being sincere. A person needs to feel that you are actually telling the truth for you "I'm Sorry" to be effective, so practice, practice, practice.

4. Wait for a response - when you apologize, half of the process is making sure the other person is willing to hear what you have to say. If the person you're apologizing to doesn't want you apology, you can do on e of two things - wait until a later date or practice even more until your performance is Oscar worthy.

These are just a few self help tips to help you get on the path of creating a memorable and sincere apology, but the best way to handle these circumstances is to never be in them in the first place - Don't piss people off and you don't have to go through all of this $%@#*.
